I thought that we were whole in this picture. Although Scottie and I were not yet married, I thought that our family was complete. We had so many good things going on in our lives at the time this picture was taken. I never imagined that I could feel incomplete because God had blessed me so much during this time. I would have never imagined that we would face the trails and tribulations that we faced in the years after this. Although there were many happy times (we got married, I graduated college, we moved away on our own, etc), this blog will focus on the fact that when you think you are at your best, the devil will attack you with all of his might.
I am in no way trying to be negative, but I hope that our battles will help someone else get through a tough or difficult time. I am going to be open and honest about some really personal stuff. And I would like my readers to do the same. Share my stories with people that may need some motivation to hold on just one more day.
